Inquire about organizing a private litter clean-up or joining a department clean-up in a park, marsh, or pond. Or encourage your team to volunteer at one of our garden workdays. The department hosts a four-day trip-based Environmental Camp each August. Sponsor the youth of our community visits to Liberty Science Center, rooftop vegetable gardens, and various other fun educational trips. Or sponsor our annual Green Festival, held the first Saturday of May.

Help us preserve our natural habitats by supporting our Pollinator Program, which builds birdhouses, bat houses and plants a wildflower meadow to support the local ecosystem.
