Funded by a $20,000 grant “It Pays to Plug In” a New Jersey Electric Vehicle Charging grant, from the DEP, the Town of Secaucus has installed four electric vehicle charging stations. The charging stations were purchased from Chargepoint, the largest electric vehicle charging network to encourage the use of electric vehicles in Secaucus. Visit DriveGreenNJ.org to learn about the financial and environmental benefits of purchasing electric vehicles.

• How to use: Install Chargepoint’s mobile app on your smartphone to check station availability and make payments. Charging rate: $1.50 per hour for the first two hours, then $5 for the third hour.
